Bratislava, the capital and largest city of Slovakia, is situated in the southwestern region of the country. It is located at the base of the Little Carpathians and spans both sides of the Danube River, as well as the left bank of the Morava River. In 1919, the city adopted its current name, Bratislava, replacing its previous German name, Pressburg.
While many visitors tend to pass through Bratislava, the city offers a wealth of attractions that make it worth exploring. From stunning castles to unique architectural structures and intriguing art, Bratislava has something to offer for everyone.
