Order Placed for Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships

The fleet of Royal Caribbean is set to grow significantly over the coming years, with several new ship constructions planned. This article provides a preview of what future guests of Royal Caribbean can expect.

The first ship set to make its debut is Royal Caribbean’s new “Utopia of the Seas”, which will be the first Oasis Class ship to offer 3- to 4-night getaways. Starting in July 2024, the ship will set sail from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, providing vacationers with an unmatched weekend experience. The ship boasts over 40 dining and drinking options, a vast number of pools, and a range of exciting activities. It will also make stops at the cruise line’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay.

In addition to “Utopia of the Seas”, there are several other Royal Caribbean cruise ships currently under construction. “Icon of the Seas” is the first in the new Icon class and is set to be Royal Caribbean’s first LNG powered cruise ship. It is expected to be the largest cruise ship ever built when it debuts in January 2024. Furthermore, two more Icon class cruise ships are expected to be delivered in 2025 and 2026.

The table below provides a summary of the confirmed ship orders for Royal Caribbean International:
