Hey there, fellow traveler! 🌍
Ever thought about dipping your toes in the Black Sea or wandering through ancient cobblestone streets in Bulgaria? Let me take you on a virtual tour of some of my favorite spots in this enchanting country.
Sozopol – Picture this: sunlit beaches, an old town bursting with stories, and the ruins of Ancient Apollonia. It’s like stepping into a postcard, right? Plus, the local mussels? To die for!
Rila Monastery Nestled in the mountains, this place feels like you’ve traveled back in time. The colors, the architecture, the serenity—it’s a spiritual detox.
Varna – Dubbed the “Sea Capital” of Bulgaria, Varna is where you get the best of both worlds: sun, sea, and a taste of city life. Oh, and if you’re feeling adventurous, give the local dish Shkembe Chorba a try.
Bansko – Ski lovers, this one’s for you. But Bansko isn’t just about hitting the slopes. The town itself is dripping in history and culture. And after a chilly day outdoors, nothing beats a bowl of warm Kapama.
Plovdiv – I mean, how often can you say you’ve been to one of the world’s oldest cities? The Old Town here is a treasure, and the Kapana district? An art lover’s dream.
Nessebar – Imagine an ancient town perched on a tiny peninsula. Sounds dreamy, right? Nessebar is all about those coastal vibes, sprinkled with a dose of history.
Veliko Tarnovo – This medieval capital feels like a scene straight out of a fairy tale. The Tsarevets Fortress? Epic views guaranteed.
To wrap it up…
Bulgaria’s got a bit of everything—history, beaches, mountains, and mouth-watering food. So, next time you’re itching to travel, give Bulgaria a thought. Trust me; it’s a trip you won’t forget.
